Control laboratory
TRP Charvet's testing laboratory plays an essential role in guaranteeing the quality of all textiles. Each sample is rigorously tested for strength, resistance and durability.
Using state-of-the-art equipment, our laboratory technicians evaluate the performance of fibers and their behavior during treatments and washes, thus ensuring top-of-the-range production. Our control tools include:
- An oven for calculating fabric shrinkage.
- A dynamometer for measuring the mechanical strength of textiles.
- The Spray test, which measures water resistance.
- A vulcanizing press, essential for checking the adhesion of our customers' rubber to our activated fabrics.
- A light booth for precise color control.
- A Testrite, to measure thread retraction.
- Equipment for measuring fabric properties such as weight, texture and width.
- An hydrophilic test to assess liquid absorption.
- A torsiometer, used to check wire twist.
- A precision scale for precise, reliable measurements.
