TRP-CHARVET is currently one of the last fabric weavers in France to market its own products, thus maintaining its reactivity and technical know-how.
This policy is the key to the long-term future of our business, and it's the industrial integration of our yarn-dyeing plants (our sister companies) that makes it so effective.
Technical
Our 40 weaving looms (dobbies and jacquards), half of which are less than 10 years old, are highly versatile and produce a wide range of fabrics and canvases in all materials and weights.
We work for the high-end luggage sector as well as for users of upholstery and decorative fabrics... We can weave width from 40 to 280 cm.
At TRP Charvet, sustainability is at the heart of our business. We recycle fabrics and selvedges to give them a second life as new textiles.
We recycle the cardboard and plastic tubes used in our processes. We work with Ecovadis to structure and continuously improve our CSR strategy.
Thanks to our two warping machines (1 sectional and 1 direct), and our latest-generation sizing machine, we weave our own warps, ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Control laboratory
The TRP Charvet testing laboratory plays an essential role in guaranteeing the quality of linen and cotton textiles. Each sample is rigorously tested for strength, resistance and durability.
Using the latest equipment, our laboratory technicians evaluate the performance of the fibers and their behavior during treatments and washes, thus ensuring top quality production.
